At CakeCraft AI, we stand behind our Service and want you to be completely satisfied. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds are available.

2. 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee

First-time subscribers are eligible for a 7-day money-back guaranteestarting from the date of your first payment.

2.1 Eligibility

  • Valid for new customers only (first subscription purchase)
  • Applies to all subscription tiers (Hobby Baker, Home Pro, Small Business)
  • Applies to both monthly and annual subscriptions
  • Request must be made within 7 days of initial payment

2.2 How to Request

To request a refund under our 7-day guarantee:

  2. Include your account email and subscription details
  3. Briefly explain your reason (helps us improve)

We will process your refund within 3-5 business days. Refunds are issued to your original payment method via Lemon Squeezy.

3. Annual Subscription Refunds

Annual subscriptions have an extended refund period:

3.1 Within 30 Days

If you cancel an annual subscription within 30 days of purchase, you will receive a prorated refund calculated as follows:

Refund Amount = Annual Price - (Monthly Equivalent × Months Used)

Example: Home Pro Annual ($190)

  • If cancelled after 15 days (0.5 months used)
  • Refund = $190 - ($19 × 0.5) = $180.50

3.2 After 30 Days

Annual subscriptions cancelled after 30 days are not eligible for refunds. However, your subscription remains active until the end of your billing period. You will not be charged for subsequent renewal periods.

4. Monthly Subscription Refunds

Monthly subscriptions operate on a no-refund policy after the 7-day guarantee period.

4.1 Cancellation

You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will have access to the Service until the subscription expires.

4.2 No Partial Refunds

We do not offer partial refunds for unused credits or time remaining in your billing period. Use your remaining credits before cancellation!

5. Free Trial Policy

All new subscribers receive a free trial period:

  • Hobby Baker: 7-day free trial
  • Home Pro: 14-day free trial
  • Small Business: 30-day free trial

5.1 Trial Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time during the trial period without charge. Simply cancel from your account dashboard before the trial ends.

5.2 Trial Limits

Free trials are limited to one per customer (per email address). Subsequent subscriptions will not include a trial period.

6. Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds are not available in the following cases:

  • Account suspension or termination due to Terms of Service violations
  • Subscription renewals (after 7-day guarantee period)
  • Voluntary downgrades or plan changes
  • Unused credits or features
  • Change of mind after 7 days (monthly) or 30 days (annual)
  • Technical issues on your end (incompatible browser, internet issues)

7. Service Outages and Downtime

In the event of significant service outages or downtime affecting your usage:

7.1 Credit Extensions

If our Service experiences downtime exceeding 4 consecutive hours, we will extend your subscription by a proportional amount of time or provide additional credits at our discretion.

7.2 Partial Refunds

For extended outages exceeding 24 hours, we may issue partial refunds on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@cakecraftai.com with details.

8. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

If you believe you were charged incorrectly, please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company.

8.1 Dispute Resolution

We are committed to resolving payment issues promptly. Email support@cakecraftai.com with:

  • Your account email
  • Transaction date and amount
  • Description of the issue

8.2 Chargeback Consequences

Initiating a chargeback without contacting us first may result in:

  • Immediate account suspension
  • Loss of access to generated designs and recipes
  • Inability to subscribe in the future

Valid chargebacks (unauthorized transactions, duplicate charges) are always honored.

9. Refund Processing Time

Once your refund is approved:

  • Processing: 3-5 business days by Lemon Squeezy
  • Bank Credit: 5-10 business days depending on your bank
  • International Payments: May take up to 14 business days

Refunds are issued to your original payment method. If your card has expired or been cancelled, contact Lemon Squeezy support directly.
